Sometimes it comes to the end of a tenancy and the tenant feels that there isn't enough time to do all the work to move out in time. In such a case you might consider to request overstay. Typically landlords will agree on an overstay as long as it doesn't interfere with plans they made based on your vacating date.
Please be aware that even thogh it's likely your landlord wil agree, it still is at his/her sole discretion to agree to it. So make sure to inform your landlord in time and await written confirmation. Else you risk to breah your tenancy agreement.
The rent for the overstay will typically be calculated like this:
Annual rent / days of year × days overstay
Example:
Let's assume your annual rent is 100,000 and you require to overstay 1 week (= 7 days).
Annual rent: 100,000
Days of year: 360
Days overstay: 7
100,000 / 360 × 7 = 1,945
Hence, 1 week overstay will cost you 1,945.
