Dubai based property developer MERAAS officially announced today that the handover of La Cote (French for "The Coast"), the first phase of the development Port de La Mer, will take place on 14 December 2021.

In the constant endeavor to make Dubai even more attractive for foreign investors, the government of Dubai has set another important example in cooperation with the Dubai Land Department. The minimum investment for a renewable, 3-year investorvisa, has been reduced from AED 1,000,000 to AED 750,000 (approx. £ 150,000). In addition, the property can now also be mortgaged, provided that the equity portion reaches the threshold.
